Gires-Tournois Interferometer mirrors (GTI)

Product Description

Gires-Tournois Interferometer mirrors (GTI) are designed for pulse compression. The laser pulse will spread and become chirped after transmitted a number of optical components. The pulse broadening effects of GVD can be excellent compensated by using (GTI) mirrors. These mirrors exhibit lower losses and sensitivity to mechanical misalignment errors compared to a pair of dispersing prisms or grating pulse compression. It leads to enabling higher power output and laser stability.
